She was born in Bari (Italy) and developed culturally and professionally whilst living in Bologna, Milan, Barcelona and Berlin In 2000 she moved to Bologna to study arts, cinema, theatre and music, graduating from the prestigious D.A.M.S. After completing her studies, she moved back to Bari to deepen her knowledge of fashion by taking courses in Haute Couture and dress-making.
Her professional career started at the age of 24, collaborating with outstanding Italian costume designers such as Maurizio Millenotti on a number of films directed by Ermanno Olmi, Sergio Rubini, Daniele Vicari, to cite just a few. She continued to work in fast-paced, upscale environments, obtaining technical as well as soft skills quickly by joining a variety of projects, some of which featured special effects. One example, "Ice Scream" directed by Roberto De Feo and Vito Palumbo, has won more awards than any other Italian mini-feature in history (15 prestigious international awards and 50 official nominations). Further work also included "Lo Straniero", where she was responsible for costume design; this film was awarded the best short Salento Finibus Terrae, at Sarno Film Festival. In 2013 Dalila relocated to Berlin where she contributed to indie films such as "Appetite" and the more recent "Coke. Champagne & Cigarettes".
Her extensive experience in both the fashion and the film industry allows her to deliver excellent results under pressure with a high level of professionalism.
